Our Class
The structure of the class is student centered, lessons revolves around meaningful inquiries featuring sets of sources designed for groups of students with diverse reading skills and abilities. Therefore, interactive projects, presentations, group work, debates, discussions, reading and writing assignments, round tables, and lecture/note taking are the basis of the class routine. The aim is to establish an educational experience for students to flourish as critical thinkers under the umbrella of a discipline framework with clear and well oriented class objectives expecting open-ended outcomes, possibilities.
But mostly, our class is open for students to find a safe and comfortable rendezvous were they can be themselves. We welcome and respect your individuality, we promote inclusiveness and plural understanding. We want our students to feel they are part of an open-minded world school who values the culture, preferences, and traditions of others, students who promote and inquire humanistic ideas in a caring and reflective way.
Mr. Sánchez
Native of Venezuela in the most beautiful region in the world, the Andes Mountains. Fortunate to be an international educator, having the opportunity to visit and known people, traditions, and cultures in five continents. Serendipitous to be able to learn everyday form the field of humanities, ceaseless inquiries, my colleges, but mostly, my students.
